Established in 1972, the foundation was created to provide a caring and supportive environment to young men and women who are in conflict with the law.

Youth Justice

Ajax Learning Centre

This alternative education program services Young persons who are involved with Youth Justice Services in the Ajax/Pickering area. The young persons are between the ages of 12 – 17 at the time of their offence. The young person may not be registered in an education program at the time of their referral. Learn more

Attendance Centre

The Attendance Centre provides gender specific and gender informed programming in the delivery of individualized intervention plans. The centre aims to involve family and community resources with the hopes of engaging and supporting the young person with their success. Learn more

Murray McKinnon House

The Murray McKinnon House is a residential custodial program located in Oshawa, Ontario providing service to males and those identifying as male in the Durham Region and surrounding areas. Learn more

Reintegration Support Outreach Program

The Reintegration Support Outreach Program offers a dedicated, gender responsive, mobile worker to provide assistance in the delivery of the individualized risk reduction plan. Learn more

Supportive Reintegration Residence

The 5 bed supportive reintegration residence (SRR) which provides housing for males or those identifying as male; between the ages of 16-20 years of age, who are at risk of involvement or invloved with justice system and are experiencing homelessness or living in unsafe or unsustainable housing. Child Welfare

Anti-Human Trafficking Youth in Transition Worker (AHTYITW)

The AHT YITW will support vulnerable Durham Region clients ages 16 – 24, assessing who may be at high risk for being sexually exploited and/or sex trafficked. Learn more

Lavender Hill Healing House

Our specialized residence is dedicated to female (including trans) children and youth under the age of 18 who have been sex trafficked. The focus of our residence is to help keep survivors safe while they heal, providing and connecting them with programming and clinical supports to reduce the risk of re-exploitation. Learn more
